I and the others came to your summit in peace. You started with an
attack on several present. You then insulted every Achaean who has
taken the time to learn your language whether in whole or in part
by Estan's haughtiness. Then you declared that we were all barbarians
and needed to be civilized and that those of us who did not bend
would break.

And now, it seems that you claim the first blow was struck by the
Achaeans present. This did not seem to be the case, and I can no
longer consider myself a 'friend' to the vertani. Please do not
consider me your friend anymore. You and your kind have acted in
all of the worst traditions of would-be conquerors, and I wish
nothing more than to see you turned away.
