To the leaders of Tasur'ke.

Earlier, before the summit dissolved into farce we were told that you
have decided to join the Vertani Empire. We urge you, before you commit,
to hold your pen above the paper before signing.

It is true relations between Hashan and Tasur'ke have been blighted
these past years, but we can change, we can both change. You should know
that as I am sure the other leaders will be happy to confirm were
persuing a unilateral agreement that Tasur'ke citizens would be left in
peace and defended, an agreement that was just within grasp before this.
We have neither quarrel nor friendship with the Vertani but signing this
agreement is not going to bring you in peace you crave. In your heart of
hearts you know, and especially following what has happened with the
late Overlord Estan today your village is going to become a battleground
between Vertani troops and the twin forces of Mhaldor and Ashtan, and
Tasur'ke citizens WILL be caught in the crossfire though it.

You don't have to put your citizens though this. Hashan can change and
protect you.

I urge and invite you to meet with me in the coming months.
