Before I begin, I would like to point out that this post is not one of
those times when I make up a government and try to impose my fictional
rule over some random group. I'll do that later. Oh such fictional rule
shall I impose!! This post is a genuine offer from the Jesters guild to
our neighbors in Delos.
Since the coming of the Vertani, there have been various villages
allying themselves with the Vertani and also with the cities. We of the
Jesters would like to see Delos do niether. We believe that it is
important that delos remain a neutral body in this time of turmoil. We
are an island of commerce, of religion, having two temples, of combat,
of arts, and a neutral stance would allow the residents to focus on
their many talents. I am not writing today looking to convince delos to
raise an army as Thera has done, but simply to request a meeting with
the leaders of the Delosian residents that we might reach an agreement
about the island's neutrality. If the residents of our fair island are
interested in this offer, please contact either the Jesters Guild or
post your reply here. Thank you.
-Tiax
PS - When Tiax rules, britches will not ride up so wedge-like!!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Penned by my hand on the 8th of Lupar, in the year 385 AF.
