Sir, to clarify a few points you make in your post. Hatred and blind
rage are not indeed the same and I again state. To dislike, or to feel
scorn for, to pity or to want to remove, these are not feelings of
hatred. Hatred is a powerful emotion and is one that controls us, not
necessarily to act but controls us emotionally by existing in the first
place. Blind rage is different again and can be induced by several
factors: hatred, pain, loss, fear. In no way do we confuse the two.

As for making gross oversimplifications of your society. We do not need
to do this sir, your society does this quite well on its own. I believe
that the Seven Truths give an adequate summary of your ideals. We also
do not make broad implications of Mhaldor, we speak only of those that
follow Sartan. If you take this as Mhaldor then so be it but do not put
words into our mouths. We do not need to be a citizen of Mhaldor to see
evil in action throughout the world, or perhaps you believe that Mhaldor
has too little influence or too small a voice for us to gain adequate
perspective?

When answering our idea of pity, we notice that you do not refer to the
pity we see in those who are led by the truths of evil, you instead
choose quite a different portion of society, gleam users. There is no
hatred to channel into pity here, there is merely a desire to help and
that is a different emotion. We believe the term you are looking for
here is benevolance. As those in Mhaldor would kill gleam users and
remove them from the society, those that follow the light take steps to
prevent the use in the first place. We challenge you to find a gleam
user in the city of Shallam. If an unfortunate soul does take up this
insipid drug, yes treatment would be offered and once the individual is
cured they can be used as a spokesperson against such addiction. In this
way we gain a valuable member of society who can work with others to
strengthen the whole community.

All societies are built like a pyramid with the strongest at the top and
the weakest at the bottom. Adding blocks to the bottom only strengthens
the whole structure. In time those blocks will rise to make way for
more. If your gleam example is the best you can come up with then you
are merely proving that you remove some blocks, putting even more
pressure on the other weaker blocks around them. Not a very stable
example for you to be sharing sir.

On a final note, we would remind you that civility can be an attribute
of both good and evil.

As we have no desire to clutter up the boards with many back and forth
posts, if you desire to speak with us further on this issue, we would be
glad to meet with you. Please do as others have and seek us out in
person.
