In honor of the Lady Keresis and Ashtans Festival of Vengeance, Id like
to invite novices far and wide, from guilds big and small to participate
in a fun game that all will enjoy, Revenge of the Scholars!

The rules for the game will be listed, and are fairly simple and the
game is easy to play. It is not meant to be a difficult game nor a
complicated one, but fun and enjoyable for all. We hope for a strong
turn out and to see many novices chasing after the runners. So read the
rules, and if you feel inclined to take on a runner then please join us.
Winners will be rewarded with a favor from Lady Keresis.

The dates for the events are the 10th of Chronos, and the 9th of
Glacian. All entrants will gather at the Central Market of Ashtan and
when ready, we will dispatch the runner with a head start of
approximately one minute then send the seething scholars after him/her.
We hope to start events promptly, so please do show up a bit earlier and
make sure you have all your needed equipment and tattoos.

Here are the rules for Revenge of the Scholars:

Rules for runners:
1) Strip all defenses before the event starts (keep deafness off, no
insomnia)
2) Only personal artifacts are allowed, no borrowing, Buckawn
Boots/Amulet not allowed
3) Use of skills are prohibited, phase, blackwinding, warp, entering
sewers, flying, dashing, ect...
4) Manual curing is allowed (all reflexes off)
5) Sewers and Subdivision is off limits

Rules for scholars:
1) Chase the Runner around Ashtan and use whatever skills you want to
try to get and keep him prone for 10 seconds.
