Death, what else?

I wrote this post originally to educate Disciples of Death, but later I
thought I would educate the whole land, and what better classroom is the
world.
I educate you all because I wish to end the ignorance of death that
pervades the land. Ignorance only leads to fear and hate. Hate and fear
lead to persecution and this must end. I mean this is why so many people
hate the Vertani because they refuse to totally teach us their ways, and
what not.
There is only one thing certain in this world. It is death. Everything
will one day die. Death is everywhere around us in our daily lives as
well. This isnt just in the arena or a misshaped bashing trip either.
Death is beneath our feet, in the air around us, and in everything we
see. Plants receive nutrients from their dead brethren, and almost
everything else we see was brought into this world because something
died to make room for it to make it stronger. As when a mother mountain
lion kills a passerby to feed the cubs she is carrying. Everything is
linked to death.
Death isnt limited to just physical deaths either. Your philosophies can
die and your belief system can to. You can spend your whole life
believing in a certain philosophy and then a great even happens that
changes your outlook. Relationships with your fellows, friendship or
otherwise, die. These deaths in beliefs, like a physical death, are
replaced by new beliefs in the world around them. This shows that all
things are touched by death.
Death is sometimes considered to be evil but isnt. It is considered evil
because of the pain of loss you feel. However death lets the new replace
the old. Without death the world would become stagnant and
overpopulated, without new ideas or new people coming into existence. It
is neither good nor bad nor neutral, it is only death and death is
inevitable.
Why death is so powerful is the fact that it is probably the only thing
in our world that isnt touched by hypocrisy. I see the Seven Truths of
Evil broken everyday, I see evil turn away from their beliefs just like
I see good turn away from theirs. I was born into the Tanjinn and I have
witnessed this on frequent occasions in my stay their. I see those
seeking peace slaying innocents in villages all over Sapience. I see
those who strive for the light bicker and stab each other in the back
with their horrible political machines. I also see these armies of
forgiveness turn away people because of past mistakes and I see them
betray each other and hold senseless grudges. The armies of light also
harbor those who have power just because this benefits them in combat,
even if these people insult the beliefs of their fellows. I see the
people of the forest hurt the forest they pledge to protect by over
harvesting it out of greed. I see knights who strive for honor, jump
people from behind and leave their victims on the road without a chance
to retaliate. Monks, preach to achieve perfection, stagnate and dont
strive for greater positions of power, while living a life of surplus
and greed, which doesnt fit them at all. Also many preach neutrality,
while striving for murder and deceit. Death doesnt do this because we
all die
there is no escape from this inevitable fate. You cannot turn away from
the fact that you will die because it is impossible to avoid death, but
you can turn away from your other beliefs because it isnt hard at all.
Death doesnt hold grudges, death doesnt kill out of greed, death doesnt
care who or what you are and this is why death is the greatest of all
beliefs.
I hope this article brings you to learn more about death at the
discussion on death later this month. I hope to see you all there. This
article wasnt meant to offend anyone and if it did it was only to prove
a point.
