I am here to express my sadness about the current developments in the
realms. More and more areas seem to become open PK areas, and my limited
mortal mind fails to understand the reasons.
Let me focus on two of the current new open PK areas.

Thera: Has chosen to be under the protection of Ashtan now, which I
respect. Yet, why does this conclude to Thera being open PK?
I doubt that the people of Thera chose to be under the protection of
Asthan, to find their home becoming a playground of adventurers with the
main aim in life to kill other adventurers, with the streets of Thera
being soaked in blood.
Assuming this would really belittle the importance of Thera.

And for the Asthan defense of Thera: Eventhough I fully respect the wish
of the people of Thera, why would an open PK defense be necessary? Is
that the natural logic of the latest events? I fail to see that.
I do not mean any harm to the people of Thera, have never attacked a
single citizen there, and am not cityenemy of Ashtan, either. Therefore,
I am allowed to walk the streets of Ashtan, but now not the streets of
the Under-protection of Ashtan-Thera anymore. Why?
I am sure that any Asthan defense party would be perfectly capable of
checking my status towards Ashtan and my citizenship in order to decide
whether I mean harm to the people of Thera or to themselves before
attacking me.

Tasur�ke: Certain adventurers have decided to engage themselves in
fights with the Vertani. Their decision now has let to developments that
effects my life to an extent that I cannot travel savely Tasur�ke
anymore, or show this beautiful place to novices of mine, without
running in danger of being killed. Me, that never has had any single
problem with the Vertani, who is neither member of the Mark nor an
Infamous, and only a cityenemy of one city, Mhaldor, simply because I
call Shallam my home.

If someone would be able to enlighten me about the background that led
to these developments of those places having to become open PK areas,
filling me in with facts that I might have overseen, I would be very
thankful, indeed.

Overall, I am quite concerned that more and more open PK areas might be
declared, limiting the lifes of adventurers like me, whos main aim is
not the one to fight other adventurers, to an extend that worries me a
lot and makes me sad.
