Dear Hingar,
I just wanted to point out a flaw in your last statement. To better
explain my point, let me tell you a true story. One day, I went
exploring in Dun Valley. I chanced upon a fortress there, one that I had
never seen. It was filled with orcs and ogres. I, being the curious
Druid I am, wanted to see every room and searched out every nook and
cranny. Suddenly, as I walked up the stairs, I was beset by seven ogre
knights and brutally slain. I had done nothing to these ogres, except
explore their fortress and yet they killed me. Seeking retaliation, I
went back and slew as many as I could and ever since that day, they have
been my sworn enemies.
Now tell me, Hingar, does that not sound familiar to you? You came here,
wanting to explore our world. While you were exploring, certain people
killed your scouts. You have now begun to seek retaliation upon them, in
fact, upon their cities. How does that make me any different from you?
And yet, you say that I am, "evil to your very core, and sunken in the
throes of frequent attempts at genocide" and call me a murderer. Seems
like you're the crow calling the raven black, hmmm?
Sincerely,
Clover
