Hingar's Thinly Veiled Threat

As I stated in the meeting I was called to, Ashtan is a sanctuary
to all of her citizens. If anyone attempts to kill any within the
city they will be enemied, and if any organization wishes to unite
to see that said person is punished within the Bastion's walls it
will find itself in a state of War with the Bastion.
We value our freedom as unfettered as it can be. We do hold the
view that consequence must moderate freedom, but we also think
that all minds have the right to do as they wish. Szanthax feels
that your fortress trespasses on his empire, so be it, he killed
many of your kind, so be it, if you've a quarrel with him keep it
outside of the city.
As a diplomat you should really attempt to make more friends
than enemies. I am not sure what sort of experiance you have but
in my time I've learned that when you have a problem with a single
person that it is best you not speak down on the beliefs of an
entire group least the individual gain more support. Ashtan is
known to harbor many of these 'mass murders', in Sapience we tend
to call then members of the Mark. I am sure they, as well as most
of the rest of Ashtan are willing to die as well as fight for our
own freedom which you seem so intent on keeping on a tight leash.
I suppose it is now my turn to threaten you now Hingar, so well
if you, or any of your kind wish to harm any of Ashtan, or wish to
pick yet another fight keep treating us all as if we are children
and keep pushing at us to test us for handles to manipulate, and
way to chain us to you. Ashtan fought Shallam off and on for
decades, we are not at all afraid of you.
