A Great Tragedy

Many years ago, the winds of fate smiled upon two souls. With nary a
look askance, the Logos willed this pair into existence. Thus begins
their journey.
Dawn broke over the Granite Hills as Rallos and Lilly awoke with new
life. Bathed in the celestial light of Noxtra, Rallos arose from the
ashes of unborn creation into the form of a Rajamala. Lilly, the chosen
child of Lady Mithraea, grew into the form of the resplendent Tsol'aa.
Years passed, and the unwitting duo sought comfort in the arms of
others. The people they met were cordial, but these relationships of
convenience never fulfilled them. The story resumes just as Lilly is
slated to marry Tidus, a local man of her village in the upcoming days.
Normally peaceful, the quaint Tsol'aa village was busy with activity on
that day. Despite the crowds of people preparing for the wedding, the
fated duo met within the Tsol'aa marketplace. They drank champagne under
the stars that night, and drifted into sleep within each others arms.
Much to Tidus's dismay, his fiance left the tiny village with Rallos.
Tidus was a proud, foolhardy man with a temper of the worst kind.
Without delay, he stormed out of his home town in search of them.
At the eve of the next day, Tidus was upon them. The ensuing conflict
brought dire results upon Rallos, and alas, his life had come undone. It
was at this moment, amid the forlorn cries from Lilly over her fallen
soulmate, that the form of Lady Mithraea coalesced into existence before
them.
Lilly was given a proposal. Allow her companion to be relieved of this
mortal coil, or spend the aeons with him, trapped within Endless Time.
With salty tears flowing freely, Lilly accepted Her offer.
There the pair remained; star-crossed lovers doomed to spend eternity
together, with no hope of ever embracing each other one last time.
Penned by my hand on the 21st of Scarlatan, in the year 381 AF.
