To Sethrin, the ore merchant

Sethrin, as you seem to be the ambassodor of the Vertani Empire, could
you please rely a message to the Vertani for me? I know no other way to
contact them, as they are too busy to speak to outsiders while they are
in this realm. If you could aide me in this, it would be muchly
appreciated.

Overlord Estan, you seem to know much about our people, but we know so
little about yours. Many of us are wary of your people because this
ignorance, an ignorance that does not have to be. Is there any way we
could learn of your ways? Any books you could bring us to further
understanding? Any scholars you could send to speak with us? Many times
have your people offered information, but nearly nothing was actually
given. We are curious and we are worried, and we wish to Know.

Many people of Sapience have expressed that they have no ill intentions
towards you, but they have no benign intentions either. Apart from the
Mhaldorians, most Sapients are neutral in regards to your people -
curious and wary, but neither hostile nor altruistic. Many of us would
love to exchange knowledge and goods with a benign foreign world, yet at
the same time, do not want to aid an imperialistic incursion into our
world. If we knew more of you, if we knew more of your ways and ideals
and morals and desires, we could know if we could trust you or not. If
you deny us this knowledge, we can only assume that you are hiding
something.

Questions posed before the Vertani explorers were largely danced around
and ignored. This evasion does not enamour us of you or your people.
Please, if you do not teach us of your people or your world, we cannot
help our distrust of you nor our desire to keep what is foreign and
unknown away from us.
