Aladraion and Khoraji

Written by: Maha-not-quite-raja Relos, Not Very Punny Mhun-key

Addressed to: Slayer Caine, the Pharaoh of Blades

One of the things I've learned over my 70-odd years, is that wit is not
something that can be bought. Unlike...say, artifacts. Like a whore, it
can perhaps be wooed momentarily for cost, but it feels little enough
desire to abide by those that would attract it with coin.

However, for those who have it, those born with it, ah, wit is like the
brightest of metals, with but a flick of the tongue, it flashes into the
eyes of those around them, catching their attention in awe, and holding
it fast.

And much like a metal, wit can indeed be forged. And much like a paladin
might with a hammer, one can temper one's wit, so that over the years, a
sharp and pure weapon can indeed emerge from it. A whip, perchance, as
such has been alluded to in metaphor before. And it is a weapon that can
leave quite the mark.

In essence, Caine, the same advice holds true for you as it does for
Khoraji. Mind your metaphors.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Daedalan, in the year 381 AF.
