I received an old parchment, sent to me in a letter from an unknown
source. It reads ....

The power of the landmarks had been untapped ... little did the world
know that everyone had an interest in the outcome.

The interest of the devoted and the necromongers was obvious. But the
chaotics and forestals were unaware. Chaos thrives on the balance of
forces. Only when good and evil achieved an equal number of landmarks,
could the true power of chaos be unleashed. Landslide victories did not
bode well for chaos, and their power was never realized.

The forestals had a different interest. They benefited only when 2
specific landmarks went to good, and 2 specific ones went to evil. The
knowledge of which ones has been lost. Maybe this information can be
unearthed!

However, the landmarks valued by the forestals were more powerful in the
hands of those the forestals would have prefered not achieve them.
Foolishly, they continued to aid the powers of Good, and only achieved 2
of the necessary 4 landmarks in the process.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Sarapin, in the year 378 AF.
