I do not presume to be a master of the realm of warfare. Lord Aegis,
probably alone, has the complete awareness of this domain. But I
understand some of the basic principles. That to be a dog of war, so
to speak, would be to have an insatiable lust for conflict. Why else
worship War if that is not what you seek out in life.
I have studied Lord Aegis realm and have spoken to some of his ancient
followers before His return to Achaea. So perhaps I am not completely
naive, when I analyze and determine His followers as those that will
want war at any opportunity.

Unfortunately for the Order of Selene, a member of Her Order made a
grave mistake in disrespecting in public Lord Aegis. This member is not
of city or guild, but is of the Order of Selene. It would seem that an
opportunity was presented for war. For the individual solitary actions
of that one man, were taken as a representation of many and a Divine,
because Lord Aegis followers it has been made evident were ordered and
perhaps took it upon themselves in some cases to destroy the shrines of
Selene across Sapience and the border territories.

The realm of Love and Beauty, whilst commonly mistaken for the humble
order, the timid order, submissive order, gentle order, docile order and
compliant order, is not a warring faction. Whilst we have fighters, and
defenses that we are willing to use, we are not outwardly martial. We
are an order of learning, understanding and teaching. We have never
involved ourselves as attachment to any city, guild or Order in the
past. We have no enemies, we are a refuge for those that want to explore
profound subject matter and discover something useful within themselves
and about the world around them.

So it is with due disappointment that members of Aegis Order continue
to destroy that which we build, in full knowledge that they are a
powerful unchallenged mighty group of fighters that can commit these
crimes against our order safe in the knowledge that not many would take
up writs against them, nor could probably succeed in defeating them if
they did.

But that is without begging the question of why jump at the chance of
war over the actions of one man, (which have been punished on many
levels indeed, both publicly and internally). Especially against a group
that would seem so meek in comparison to the great might of hunters and
combaters.

Selenes name has been besmirched by this incident, as have her
followers. Unduly.
I bring this to the public forum, because such oppression should not be
kept muffled behind closed doors.

I wonder what outcome the Aegeans want from this. Perhaps a perpetual
enemy to ruin?
