another oakstone post, yay

Greetings!

I'm no forestial, I don't represent the woods in fact I don't even LIVE
in the forests and can't tell an oak tree, from a pine tree, from a
pinecone. However, humor me by letting me make my own questions for you
from your post.

I'll preface this post by saying this: I honestly don't care about
forestials' politics. Usually when I see a post with 'oakstone',
'herbs', or 'forests' as the subject I'll just skip past the post, as
I'm sure most other non-forestials do. Much as I'm sure Oakstone could
care less about Ashtans politics.

I'm also not one for browbeating; so let's cut to the chase your claim
is in essence that oakstone is a corrupt, money-grubbing, power hungry
organization (which of course they aren't). That they are setting prices
of herbs for no reason beyond their own wealth (which again they
aren't). But let's assume for the sake of this post these false claims
actually are true.

What are you expecting to do to them about it?

Isn't it well within Oakstone's right to set prices as highly as they
want? All us non-forestials can complain about prices till our face
turns blue, but that won't change the fact that they are within their
right to set any prices they want (again which they don't!), corrupt or
not. Just as cities can make whatever laws they want, the only rights to
changing these laws exist in the organization itself. It's easy enough
to point out the hypocrisy of an organization (existent or not!), but
the real problem comes from actually doing something about it!

So again, what are you planning to do to fix this problem? (Even if it
doesnt exist)

As a few ideas for you that I've just thought up on the spur of the
moment, perhaps us cities should carve out the forests for ourselves and
make our own mini-oakstones. Just think, an Oakstone-Ashtan (obviously
it would be called Ashstone) and an Oakstone-Shallam council could
control both city and nature! Or launch an attack on the forests,
destroying everything natural that stands in our way! Perhaps we could
make a buying ban on oakstone, refusing to buy the elixirs and herbs
from oakstone surely thatll show them!

Oakstone: protecting the forests or a money hungry cartel? It honestly
doesn't matter
