Oakstone's pricelist

Greetings, sir.

Your post has interested me enough to post my opinion regarding it,
although I'm not the person you adressed it to. Furthermore, I don't
represent Oakstone or any forestal guild, nor do I speak in Conor's
name.
But since it appears you have missdirected your question ( to my
knowledge, Conor holds no official position in Oakstone at the moment,
though he did in the past ), so I possibly have the chance to missdirect
this post too.

I presume your question is based on the recent public proclamation, made
by sir Rangor, in which he states new, revised pricelist for herbs and
concoctions that forestal guild have agreed upon.
That proclamation is the subject of my interest too, as rogue forestal
that has with more or less luck avoided to follow that pricelist for the
most part of my life.

It was my intention to adress sir Rangor first, since the proclamation
he wrote is a bit vague, because it does not mention rogue forestals,
and are they obliged to follow that same, new pricelist, as well.
Should that be the case, there would be grounds to name that
proclamation as an attempt to control the sale of herbs and refills by
forestal guilds, or even Oakstone, though I doubt that is the case.

But that proclamation clearly states that this pricelist comes as result
of agreement between three forestal guilds, I believe so that the prices
for herbs and refills in those guilds are not in disaccordance so much,
though the real reasons could be different.

It is interesting, still, that such agreement is called 'Oakstone
pricelist', since Oakstone did not, to my knowledge, participate in it,
and Oakstone's representatives claim that Oakstone is not responsible
for creating such pricelist, probably to avoid being accused of trying
to control the herb market .
Regardless of their motives, I believe that Oakstone has made a positive
step, by making clear that they have more important issues to deal with,
than to control the herb market. I hope they will continue with such
steps i future, too.

Thank you for your time, and may your business(es) be prosperous.
