Basic Economy Rule: no one will reduce the price of a good if you're
willing to pay the actual price to buy it.

The day people will stop buying credits at 5k, the sellers will be
forced to reduce the price, or they won't sell anymore. And 4k it's
better than 0, even if not as good as 5k.

Oh, of course don't understimate the fact that due to fishing
(basically) we're all slight richer than before, so it's no big deal to
pay a little more for goods.

Is fishing killing achaean economy? That would be a nice question...
