Your points on the credit market

Dear Saavik,

I disagree entirely - no-one forces anyone to buy credits from the
credit market - in fact you're lucky you can at all. Furthermore, I
think it quite obvious that even the youngest adventurer would try and
find out what credits were before he bought any, and if he didn't know
what they were, it's unlikely he would find the credit market, hence
forcing me to question your point on the credit market exploiting those
who don't know better.

You make a claim that the reason for the high prices are these
youngsters, yet looking at the amount of credits and the price, I find
it interesting exactly how many of these can afford say, 50K for 10
credits whilst saving up for guild equipment as well. At that age, it's
somewhat difficult to make money at such a rapid pace, suggesting that
it's older and wiser people on the credit market.

The credit market is solely dictated by Supply and Demand, and the
reason it's risen to this price is simply because people are willing to
pay it - if the price rises to a point it's not, then no one will buy
them and the price drops back down again (price equilibrium.) Therefore,
if you really have a problem with the credit market, and the ever
growing divide between the soverign and the credit, I suggest you simply
stop buying from it, or organize a boycott in order to force the price
to drop, because otherwise, it's not going to happen. Count your small
mercies that to buy credits this way is possible.
