Time

Written by: Don Darknight Sioraiocht, Philoneikian Scion

Addressed to: Makali, Goddess of Destruction

Greetings again Lady Makali,

I have given this post the title of 'time'. There is a reason. It is
time I accept my own mortality. My own state of 'being' and embrace it.
To say simply that "I'm sorry!" for my actions is... laughable. Anything
more does not seem plausible. I have insulted the Goddess of
Destruction, and have done it out of ignorance and foolish pride. I
acted in arrogance and foolish pride, and in the process hurt not only
myself, but those whom I love, and more importantly, in the process I
insulted One far greater than me.

I apologize. I am unsure of quite how to do 'this', but I am sure I will
find the way. Before You, M'Lady, I lay my being and beg for forgiveness
for my foolish pride. I stand down. I beg that You find it in Your being
to forgive me, and even if You do not, I apologize just the same. My
actions were disgraceful to my kind... I am sorry.

I suppose in time, all great men come to see they are nothing but
fools... now is my time. I rest upon my knees and ask You to forgive me,
M'Lady, and give a foolish mortal one last chance to be.

Humbly,
Darknight Sioraiocht, the Fool

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Lupar, in the year 372 AF.
