Your Misconceptions

Ah Darkender...

You do have quite a temper, eh? That's can be a good quality. It drove
you to express yourself over a public forum, which is perhaps
constructive for you; it let you work out your problems.

However, you let your emotions get the best of you. In your raving
hatred towards Darknight you made an error. You misinterpreted your
hatred towards him with a disagreement about what he said. This isn't a
wise thing to do, especially when you're advertising your anger over a
public forum, because you end up looking stupid.

Now, I don't mean to call you stupid, I merely mean that you look stupid
whenever you feel the necessity to justify your hatred with reasoning.
The only claim Darknight really made in his posts was that his actions
were his own, and not those of any order in which he takes part, so this
was the only assertion that you had to disagree with. However, your lack
of reasoning or proof for your counter-assertion does nothing for the
argument.

Having left Ashtan long ago, you may have entirely forgotten the idea of
freedom (not to say that any organizations you now take part in deny it,
but they do not so actively solicit it as does Ashtan, and this seems to
be a concept foreign enough to you that you need constant reminders and
affirmation of whta it is.) Freedom is the ability to make one's own
decisions. A side effect of this is dissociation. I may get on here and
profanely attack Cyrene if I want to, but that doesn't mean that that
attack ought to be taken from Ashtan, the Occultists, or Lord Twilight's
Order. I am myself, not the avatar of an organization. In the same way,
Darknight is himself. He is free. If in his freedom he chooses to do
actions which anger you, do not take it up with his organizations, take
it up with him, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to deal with you.

One more note: treat your enemies civilly. Ending a post "Bad Wishes" is
more rude than it is cool. Just thought I'd clear that up.

Best Wishes,
