Achaean Ratting Commission (ARC)

Dear Members of the Board A.R.C,
I feel compelled to protest in the strongest possible terms the formation of the so-called 'Achaean Ratting Commission'. The proposals in article 1 of the ARC charter run counter to everything I believe Achaea stands for and can only result in oppression and needless suffering for all Achaens. This proposal is nothing more than a transparent attempt on the part of the 'Achaean elite' to place an iron boot on the necks of the proletariat lower classes. The 'control of rats of the first kind', 'cutting off the supply' of rats to all and the requirement of obtaining a 'license' smack of nothing short of welfare politics. I for one earn my keep solely on the hunting of rats and want no part of being on what amounts to the 'dole' for my needs. I don't intend to rely on anyone to 'supply' me with my needs...I can take care of myself, thank you. I have foresworn violence to all living beings in Achaea, save in self defense, take no animal life or eat meat. Ratting is my only means of sustainence and I will not
Life was created here by the Gods Themselves, and the animals therein for the benefit of all.
As for 'rats of the second kind', again I must protest. An agency already exists for dealing with problems of this sort. The Guilds. Let the Administration of the Guilds police their membership, that's their job, among others. In extreme cases, the Gods Themselves may be beseeched in prayer to profer redress.
These mechanisms exist here in Achaea now and work sufficiently to negate the need for any further policing by vigilante groups, as I deem this proposal to be.
Thank you for the chance to air my views, and I beg you to reconsider. In Love and Faith for a better Achaea---Imlorien
