My forthcoming departure

For those of you who don't know me, or don't care about anything I have
to say, feel free to skip this post. But for everyone else, the time has
come for me to leave. My entire life I have done nothing but hurt those
who love me most. I have too many apologies to say, so I'll do this as
quickly as possible.

Conor - I'm sorry for the strife I caused the druids so, so many years
ago. I thought I was doing good, looking back now, I know I wasn't.

The entire Forestal community - As a cityless rogue, I was simply there,
but upon joining Mhaldor, I once again did what I thought was best. I
put everything on the line to try to stop an exterminator, which I did
do for a short time, but I had not thought things through completely,
nor did I speak to anybody outside of my small group of friends. If I
had gone through the proper channels, I either could have gotten people
to understand why I did what I did, or I could have been talked out of
it. Either way, things would have ended differently than they did.
Instead of accomplishing what I set out to, I was enemied to Eleusis,
the Druids, the Sylvans, the Sentinels, the Fianna and to Lady Demeter's
order. I wish I could take it all back, but it's too late at this point.

The Tanjinn - The guild where I was finally accepted for who I was, my
family. I betrayed you. I had my reasons for leaving, but instead of
leaving quietly, I did what I did, and in the process, hurt everyone I
loved.

Mhaldor - I loved Mhaldor, still love Mhaldor, will always love Mhaldor,
because it was my home long before I found my true calling with the
Tanjinn. I may have not always done my best to defend my city, but I
died trying, so very many times, without a single regret. As a rogue
druidess, I gave what I could to my city through my herbs and
concoctions, grove rezzing for citizens when they needed, anything I
could do. As a Tanjinn, I did my best to serve my city as a fighter,
albeit not a very good one. I'm sorry that I left the way I did, because
I would give anything to have my home back.

Lord Thoth - I am ashamed for what I did to You, especially after
everything You did for me. I can't even begin to say how sorry I am. I
won't even try because whenever I do, I can't think through the tears.

And finally, my children - I love you, every single one of you. Even
those of you who no longer call me mother, and I'm positive you know who
you are. I have failed you, in more ways than one. And I understand if
you hate me for it, but know that each of you are perfect in my eyes,
and I will love you unconditionally, no matter what you do, or where you
go.

In three to four months time, I will be embarking on a long journey,
into unchartered territory. I do not know if I will survive, alone in
the wilderness. If not, then this is the last you will hear from me. If
I do manage to stay alive, I may one day again find my way back to
civilization. For those of you who care to say goodbye, please do so
soon, as I will be leaving, come hell or high water. I've hurt too many
of the people I love to stay.

With all my love and wishes for the future, I say farewell,

Floralei
