Utter Lack Of A Clue

Narses,
You're an idiot.
I have nothing to do with the Tanjinn or the Order of Thoth's issues
with Floralei. It reminded Diamondesce that Floralei was free hunting
when I asked for confirmation that she had thieved.
The reason I even care, has little to do with any harm coming to
Floralei, though the blood of a traitor being spilled is not something
by which I'm particularly offended.
My interest in Floralei's behaviour is due to her having recently
possessed around 50 stolen tailoring patterns that belonged to a
Guildmate of mine. When I recovered those patterns Floralei cried of her
innocence and pleaded ignorance to the fact that they were stolen
property. She adamantly defended her own good character and claimed that
she would never sink to a level so low as theft. Let me illustrate with
her own words..
Floralei tells you, "When are people going to realize that I'm not like
every other Mhaldorian? I'm a scholar, a historian and a teacher. I'm
not a villian or a criminal, never have been, never will be."
In the process of recovering the stolen items her mount was killed. She
was horrified and I had intended to replace it, deciding to give her a
chance and accept her word.
Her word has been proved worthless, having betrayed and stolen from
those who trusted in her. She is a thief, and it was my business to
confirm or reject that status. She can now replace her own mount and
expect no sympathy should the belongings of forestals come into her
possession ever again.
I would not expect you to grasp the ideal of loyalty to your Guild,
Narses. I am of the understanding that you prefer to up and leave when
things get tough. Get a clue though, or a few simple facts, next time
you decide to publish your 'expectations' of me.
