Salutations Sapience,
I'd just like to clarify a few things. In this post I speak for perhaps
not the average Ashtan citizen, but for the average amount of those I've
had a chance to speak with. We, as a city, are -proud- of the Warlocks
guild, for her members, her accomplishments, her strengths, and even her
stumbles which in turn give her the opportunity to grow stronger. Her
citizen members and her non-citizen members go a long way to enriching
our culture, our day to day life, and our pursuits on whatever
battlefields Lord Matsuhama may lay before us.
BUT
We are not proud of her choice in Guildmaster. Be he placed by bribe,
blood, or general apathy, that was their choice, and as Ashtani and
fellow citizens with that guild's children, we accept her choice of
leader. Please do not equate Jack's rantings and cries for "Ashtani
protection" as valid in any way shape or form. It is, like most from his
lips, simply egotistical posturing. On a personal note, I do understand
what he is attempting to accomplish, but...his methods leave -much- to
be desired. As always.
-Askiva Azon Trismegistus, Speaker of the Obvious.
PS. Voice of the Qadeshi in Ashtan will be selling waterwalking boots,
if they are sold out, just contact me.
Penned by my hand on the 25th of Phaestian, in the year 370 AF.
