Waterwalking and your security

Hmm... very lovely indeed Jack. As you stated, Ashtan is perhaps the
least raided city and how waterwalking harms city defences. You also
realise that up till now, and quite possibly for the years to come,
Ashtan will remain the least raided city. What could you possibly forsee
in the coming future that 'might' happen and worries you so much about
your city's security? No one has any really violent 'bordering on
massive raids' quarrel with Ashtan as a whole. I'm sure the whole world
would know about that if it happens, deathsight and public news can get
quite noisy when it does.
Secondly your guild's new policy on waterwalking has as much effect on
the world as an ant's bite on the toe of a troll. There are 3 other mage
guilds in Sapience, if you're not willing to sell, the other 3 are. You
deprive your own guildmembers of additional livelihood for your own (now
I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here) unwarranted fears.
And with regards to your statement of money being the last thing in a
list of importance to a person? I recall a certain Warlock who shall
remain unnamed buying boxers from me for his shop at a very low price,
selling them at close to 3 times the cost and then kicking up a fuss
when I tried to charge an extra 100 per boxer on the next batch. Aye,
money is of least importance but he wouldn't even pay an extra 400 gold
to a poor little then-Arcanist trying to earn some extra cash.
Sincerely amused
