JARU

Mhaldorian Viceroy Ranzou declared publicly that Mhaldor will make
Jaru's street run with blood while Shallam insists on protecting the
village. The Mayor of Jaru approached some of Shallam's Viziers, and
asked what Shallam would do, as his citizens were dying. Shallam agreed
to defend Jaru and its villagers.

Over the last three months, Shallam, with the Mayor's blessing, been
granted permission to construct a wall on the west gate of the city.
That wall is still under construction. In the last month, Mhaldor's
efforts to create a dam on the Pachacacha were foiled, but water flooded
into the village drenching villagers briefly. The villagers of Jaru are
awfully upset and can be seen carrying weapons with which to protect
themselves.
