Just for fun, let's reverse the order of your statements, Typhoon:
The guild does not ban stealing...
Trance ... has now been outguilded.
You must not realize the flaw inherent in your statement or, perhaps
once again, you are allowing your own personal morals to interfere with
the "opinion" of an entire guild. If the SerpentLords do not ban
thievery, then why was Trance punished, outguilded in fact, for just
that? Is that not a ban, or did you choose, just this once, to punish a
single person to preserve the "image" of the guild?
Forgive my confusion, but I've seen this from you before, so allow me to
clarify:
Trance was outguilded because he "made his own choices in life" -- your
words -- but, unfortunately, those choices didn't meld with your own
personal idea of what the guild should be. He was neither aware of any
guild files that informed him not to steal, nor was he admonished or
told by an elder guild member not to steal. So, without warning, you
outguilded him for an action that, by your own admission, is not against
guild policy.
Clarify for me, Typhoon, because this doesn't look like a guild
decision, it looks like yours.
