Greetings Sapience!

There have been recent changes in the procedure as to how people can get
citizened.

There are three different classes as to what procedure must be taken
based on age, the following are what those wishing to be citizened to
the Bastion must do
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Newbies: Age 20 and under
These are the easiest to citizen. Simply have them find the pillars of
Ashtan and make sure they read all of them. Tell them to use IH to find
the pillar numbers and read each one carefully. You should ask a simple
question to make sure they understand the laws (for example what is
Guild Right One). Once they have read the pillars make sure that they
understand and agree to follow the laws of Ashtan. Then have them repeat
the Ashtan Creed as found in CHELP CREED. Once they have done all this
you can citizen them.

2) Ages 21-32
These people are also fairly easy to have citizened as well. They simply
need approval from an Archon as WRITTEN IN THE CITY LOGS before they can
be citizened. Afterwards simply follow the procedure under section (1)
for newbies age 20 and under.

3) Ages 33 and up
The most complicated to have citizened, these people must follow several
procedures before Aides need even get involved.

- They may only apply after atleast 7 months of leaving their former
city.

- They must send a letter to an Archon explaining the reasons why they:
(A.) Left their city.
(B.) Why they wish to join Ashtan.
(C.) Any wrongs they have done against Ashtan.

- They must have 3/5ths majority in the Council -and- ask the citizenry.
If anyone has a -true- reason as to why they shouldn't be citizened, a
REFERENDUM will be made for 60 days. If pass, they are citizened. If
not, they may wait atleast 6 years before they may apply again.

Then and only then can they be citizened.
