Greetings Slaves!
Earlier, the following was received:
Dearest Jack, Das, and whomever else it may concern,
Put down your swords, oh mighty Ashtan. Mhaldor is unafraid of you or
Aegis. Your time is long over. Ashtan is no longer the great city of war
that brought Shallam to its knees it once was. Perhaps because it was
under Lord Sartan's ruling at that time?
Admit it. You've laxed in your style. You're city is nothing but
jokesters and goofs now, save for 2 or 3 good fighters. Personally, I
blame it on making Pandora your patron. It opened your city up to fools
and idiots alike. Even the Occultists are plagued by morons. Why do you
think Mhaldor follows a military style so strictly? So we know just what
we are doing during times like these. We outnumber you greatly. We have
5x more city soldiers then you.
You will not defeat Mhaldor in war, Aegis' return or not. You think with
a gods return your city will suddenly transform into the great army it
was once? I think not. Mhaldor has the greatest army now. Youre just
clowns with weapons.
Sincerely,
Proud Mhaldorian Soldier
As I have no clue who wrote this lovely memo, I shall respond here.
Dearest (lonely?) Proud Mhaldorian Soldier,
The Order of Aegis brings War to you and yours. Not Ashtan. The Order of
War does not need numbers to corner and silence thugs. Honestly, we'd
relish seeing five to one odds. But the bare truth of the matter is,
that even if you bring your city guards with you, you don't have those
numbers. And for all your boasting of not being afraid, you never leave
your walls. Which is fine by us, we'll be coming to visit more and more
every day.
Mhaldor has no army. Just clowns with poor grasps at what is going on,
and apparently more pens then swords.
Sincerely,
Jack Moonflair, Prophet of Aegis, not representing Ashtan in the least.
To all other Mhaldorians!
The Order of War offers you an escape from the harsh reality that your
city and leadership brings to your daily life. This escape is freely
offered and made clear to all of you, that you may recongize it and be
free of your slave status.
Quit Mhaldor
