Oakstone minimums

I dont do much in this land so I thought it was time to at least attempt
to do something significant.
I think Oaskstone minimums are a good idea but it is my belief that the
current prices are out of balance with the state of todays herb supply.
I think it is important for them to be changed for the sake of both
consumers and sellers. An example - the current price of bloodroot. The
Oakstone minimum is still 100 on this herbs. Clearly we went through a
phase where this herb was very difficult to find but currently it has
become very easy. I just walked into the rock and found about 250. It is
hard to justify selling this herb for 100, or even 60-80 which most
people seem to be doing. At the same time swamp herbs have become
increasingly difficult to find and yet buyers still expect to be able to
buy this herb at the Oakstone minimums of 40. How can you be expected to
sell such herbs at such a price when you are selling bloodroot (a herb
much easiar to find) for twice the price or more?
There are other examples such as kola - which is alot easiar to find now
that it is no longer an annual. Alot has to be said for its high skill
level in concoctions but to charge 150 for it is very steep in the
current situation.
My point is not really what is a fair price or not. It is clearly not my
buisness telling Oakstone what is a fair price to charge or not. My
point really is that if there are to be minimums - which I state again
is a good thing. That they should be in balance with each other. Times
are constantly changing and I think that the minimums should change with
these times for the good of the consumer and the seller.
This also said, I think it's time the default shop prices got changed
too. Dont know what I can do about that but I cant compete with the
price they give on skullcap *g*
If anyone took the time to read this that has influence with this sort
of this thing, please dont dismiss it because I'm a well known idiot. I
do think it's an important issue that needs to be addressed.
