Correct me if I am wrong, but did you know the name of this criminal at
the beginning of her acts? Did you know it at the middle? Did you even
know it before she posted her victory? I would say she outsmarted at
least you, not to mention...well, everyone.

Criminals are intelligent. Criminals are stealthy, cunning, and usually
need a bit of brute force to get the job done. Ask Proficy and Silvaria.
They seem to have the knack down quite beautifully.

As for the motive of gold. Welcome to the criminal life! Who doesn't
enjoy a few thousand (or in this case, million) gold to toss around?
Besides, I believe Felisse mentioned she was shooting for a specific
amount, three million, which apparently she received. If she is shooting
for a certain amount, chances are there is a reason behind it. Original
goal? Bah. This is the most organized crime Sapience has seen since the
last person to become a city treasurer and turn thief. What was his
name? Whatever. My point is she did it, and what did she lose?
Apparently, only a small treasure in Ashtan and a few minions. Three
million gold is a nice haul, though.
