Who is griping? Floralei started the griping with her attempt to
interfere in the Druid Guild. I responded. Because of the nature of this
board, and those who like to air their ramblings, we now have a plethora
of people griping about why the poor folks of evil are being shunned by
the big bad Druids Guild and others of the forest. You are certainly
free to publish your inaccurate propaganda as anyone else is who is
willing to pay 1000 gold for the honour of posting here. Your facts are
inaccurate, and your *understanding* of Nature and the lives of
forestals is also inaccurate. And you are certainly free to sit and
inhale the red fog and let it colour your views of the world. The most
telling post here since Floralei's whining about losing a clan member,
was Dannath's, Public Post 12274. He hit all the salient points with few
words. You may twist your words and your *seven truths* to say whatever
you like them to say, but the fact is, that Nature has no moralistic
views. Morals such as good and evil are conscious choices my sentient
beings, not plants, and not animals. You exhort to Covenant that only
Lord Sartan, the Lord of Evil, can define what *evil* is. I agree
totally..so , Diamondesce, you must also agree that only the Goddess of
Nature may define what Nature is. To our tremendous loss, the Mother of
Nature is no longer here, but her essence and her teachings are. Mother
Gaia made it very very clear that Lord Sartan has no place in Nature as
he has sought to destroy it throughout history. All your words and your
propaganda cannot change that. You do not define Nature, nor does Lord
Sartan.
You also state the following -- And to address what you said about the
'weakness' of killing trees in lieu of druids, how about you teach your
druids to fight outside their groves, and learn how to handle situations
without having to run to them, cage them, and disappear off the radar
when our fighters are coming after them? They surely do come running out
of them hideyholes when an extermination takes place. ----First,
Covenant is a sentinel and does not have the a grove. Indeed, the Druids
and Sylvans do have groves, but that has nothing to do with Covenant so
he will not be teaching druids anything. It always amazes me at the
hypocrisy of those like you who cry and whine about the Groves skill.
The fact is, Diamondesce, that most druids are not aggressive and
warlike beings. Most of us come to this guild to lead a peaceful life
tending to that which we love, which is Nature. But, when a druid must
fight, what right do you or anyone else have to expect that we forfeit
one of our skillsets so that you can kill us? Druids have the skills of
concoctions, groves and metamorphosis. Only two of those skills are
offensive or defensive. Why would we not use the skills we have? Would
you be willing to fight with only your tekura skills, and forfeit
telepathy and kaido? Of course not! Your whining about Druids using one
of their skillsets..one of only 2 skillsets they can use in fighting, is
just illogical and ignorant...but it is just that ...whining. We are
already hampered by the fact that we are very vulnerable outside of our
grove. You are also disingenuous in your allegation that druids run to
their groves, hide and cage. Well from what I have seen, your allies are
quite adept at running and hiding in their city. They exterminate an
empty forest room..they run or gate back to their city to sit in safety
and smirk about how big and bad they were to exterminate. The list can
go on of folks who go to safety to avoid harm. If I am attacked in the
desert, I would be foolish to not gauge whether I can safely get back to
my grove to give myself 2 skillsets to use and not die to someone with 3
skillsets at their disposal. It is only common sense, Diamondesce.
