Fact: The Mhun were the primary force in Nicator's army, in which not
only Ashtan, but Her sibling human city, Shallam, was also defeated.

Fact: Mhaldor cannot defeat Shallam OR Ashtan by themselves

Deduction: The Mhun could wipe out Mhaldor if they so chose.

Now that the simple math is out of the way, let's look at today's
events.

Gaillardia oversteps his boundries and declares Moghedu as property of
Mhaldor.
The Great Mhunna, Ruler of the Mhun people, fights back, and garners
support from many other races - Troll, Rajamala, Human and Dwarf alike.

Mhaldorians die en masse, the Gates of Moghedu are locked

Mhaldorians, knowing they are defeated, resort to 'terrorist' tactics,
al la the infamous 'vengeance bomb' (which, by the way, Lord Sarapis
made impossible to do once before, only you tricky Mhaldorians had to go
find a way around His divine mandates, didn't you?)

Who's really weaker? Mhaldor, who resorted to terrorist tactics, or the
Mhun, who under the leadership of the Great Mhunna, handedly defeated
Mhaldorians troops time and again with allies?

The slaughter has already happened once. Mhaldor lost. Do not cause more
lives to be lost without a good reason. Withdraw from the lost battle.
