Covenant . . . the underlying tone I fined contained within all of your
posts is well . . . to put it bluntly, fear. You fear what would happen
if Mhaldor wielded the power that Oakstone does.
You know full well that we work in the same way that your society does.
We function on an eye for an eye routine, 'tis a matter of honour to us
. . . as it is for you.
Isn't this were our two sides' entrenched opposition springs forth from?
Our untold similarities, but also our polar opposition to each other?
This could be the case, but I baleave the gallons of blood spilt through
politically engineered hatred to be a more accurate reason.
Who am I to say that Mhaldor is innocent. We are far from it, yet you
still denounce all guilt on Oakstones' part and transfer it onto our
already burdened shoulders. Such an easy little trick . . . sheep follow
it so willingly . . .
I have seen to mutch honourless blood spilt over the years by /both/
sides, to baleave in anything different.
Covenant, look to your own words . . . there is much there that you
yourself could learn from. Open your' mined slightly, let some of the
decades of congealed hate bleed out . . .
Skrital,
Interesting post . . .yet you discredit your entire opinion with the
statements that you make in the last paragraph. Indeed, perhaps no one
has the right to say to a Forestall that they don't know what they talk
of, but the same principal works when applied to Mhaldorians. My qualms
have always been with the Oakstone council and the ruling Elite's of the
Forestall community, not the forestall community in general. It seems
though, that my words have been twisted by Oakstone, to represent an
attack against the forests and the Forestalls that protect them.
This is un-true.
You speak of a lack of credibility . . . pleas, expand apon this point .
. . I fined it intriguing, especially considering what you go on to say
later in the post.
+ponders+
My lack of credibility springs, partially, from my chosen way of life. A
lot of the laughter you speak of is born of the same attitudes you later
go on to attack and discredit . . . and then immediately after,
sunconciousley back up and enforce. And you say I'm the one that looks
like an ignorant pupil?
Why did I join the debate? Indeed, it was not mine to enter . . . until
Covenant pulled of his usual publicity stunt against Mhaldorians. As I'v
stated before, 'tis a mater of Honour to me.
In the past I have stated my opinions on what being a forestall entails,
all I have said is that it is their duty to protect the natural world
within which we all live out our life's, and through this, maintain and
protect the sensitive balance that Lord Sarapis implemented in his
creation. Is this an incorrect statement?
