First to Buhawi: I believe others have answered certain points
to you regarding the "nature" of lions. You do not have
to be a lion to understand the limitations of one,
and lions certainly do not make "lifestyle" choices.
I would suggest you actually learn more about the things
you attempt to debate, before making such preposterous claims.
Ang kaalaman, ay kapangyarihan.
Lodi: Nature didn't choose to be enemies with Evil. We
didn't walk into Lord Sartan's temple and decorate it with
flowers years ago. We did not send massive vines to invade
Mhaldor, nor bring Treekin to tear your city down. When you
attack something people hold dear, try not to be surprised
and aghast when they hold you responsible for it.
Malkuth: The core of Evil that I get from years and years
of reading about it, watching it, and reacting to it,
has nothing to do with survival. It has everything to do
with domination.
Cyssan: Learn the difference between survival and domination.
Regarding several of your thoughts in particularly- Very
few species have the alpha male killing off other males. Species
that have alpha males tend to have strong pecking orders, but
seldom are all other males killed. Those not willing to
work within the structure are driven out or leave. Nature is
not inherently evil any more than it is inherently good.
Anthropomorphization is a weakness in an argument of this sort.
To all of you pondering aspects of Nature you consider Evil:
It becomes apparent that you are fixated on the behavior
of certain animals. Particularly carnivores and scavengers.
I do not hear any of you saying the rabbit is evil in
its actions, searching out for the weakest blades of grass to
nibble. That the otter picks only the diseased and infirm
oysters from the ocean. That the tall redwoods that you
keep referring to have a malicious intent in trying to
hog all the sunlight. That the hummingbirds conspire
to steal all the honeydew, cornering the market on a
viable commmodity. That the spiders in the trees
plan world domination in the form of a sticky web over
all of sapience, if they ever get powerful enough to
implement their dire plans. That eating apples is
a crime against apple trees, and an attempt at genocide.
My opinion on the matter is the same as the majority
of the forestals. We could care less if you choose
to be "evil". When you make it our business because
of your own actions, we respond. Your dislike of
us beaing able to mount a reasonable, intelligent, and
deadly response is of no concern to me. Should you wish
to disengage, return to picking on "good", leave us alone,
and go back to being slaughtered by someone you have
an actual philosophical disagreement with, as opposed
to someone you keep manufacturing reasons for disliking.
And lastly, to you idiots who think these posts are a
waste of time on the public news board: What are you doing
reading this far, and why do you care at all if you think
its a waste of time?
