Not only have I seen a cat toy with a mouse, I've seen it do the exact
same thing with a piece of string. Somehow, I don't think it intends
cruelty on the string, (well, that, or the cat is pretty dumb...though
we've already had mention of the comparison of Evil with beasts, and
I'll leave that issue alone), and so I tend to doubt it intends cruelty
on the mouse. It simply likes to play, and that includes something it's
about to eat (I juggle muttons, personally, but to each their own).
