To the Monks and Monk GMs of the world--
This months serenade (the First, if we have 5 of them again
-tickleGardenDwellers-) will be the deadline for getting me your
confirmed list of participating Monk combattants for the world monk
tournament. Be sure you send a letter, with the names, a notation of
their gold payment that you will be holding and the Combat RATING of
each person notated in their standard breakdown by Division.

As a reminder.. the divisions are-

Division 1- Combat Rating of 100- 250 - FEE 500 Gold
Division 2- Combat Rating of 251- 500 - FEE- 1000 gold
Division 3- Combat Rating of 100 and UP- inclusive of everyone that is
RATED. All are welcome in this Division.--- FEE 1300 Gold

A few Rules going into this--

{*} YOU MAY be registered into Two divisions if you so wish. This means,
that if you have a rating of 249, you may be in Division 1 and Division
3 if you are so bold. I would absolutely LOVE to see someone with that
kind of combat talent, win both. If you have the brass to do it, you
deserve the glory and both prizes to boot. Go after it!

{*} Artifacts-- There have been a lot of mumblings about the Arti-whores
amongst the Monk community and I have upheld that those who have worked
their entire way of doing things around those artifacts shouldnt have to
relearn a new way of doing things just for a tournament. Thusly we have
come to what seemed to be a compromise. You will NOT be allowed to
borrow someone elses artifacts for this event. If you own artifacts, you
may use up to 5 but no more. Please remove and have a neutral 3rd party
hold onto any artifacts over 5 while you commence with your fights. The
Term in this rule "Artifacts" Does not encompass NON-helpful artifacts
such as Pipes and Vials. I expect everyone to be honest in this, as I'd
hate to see Lord Clementius' angry side make an example of cheaters.

{*} You MAY utilize Runes, Priestly Blessings, or other such
magical-boosts one may recieve from other classes.

If you are a Rogue, contact ME directly to get signed up and send me
your entry fee. If you are NOT Combat rated, please get rated before we
begin. Because of the nature of how we will be scoring for the winners,
I will need you rated, and its safer for verification purposes. One can
not argue with COMBAT STATUS.

Good Luck Monks! I will be posting again in a few days to announce the
participants, and the Prize Benefactors. I am forever beholden to many
of you out there for your unwaivering generosity. Many who aren't even
of the Monk class have seen fit to attach their name to this event and I
am impressed beyond words. See you all again soon. Oh ... Read the next
post!!
