a response to you

Qwilleran,
I will respond to your post, simply because I want the rest of the world
to understand where my point of views come from.

You asked where do I find out about forest fires and the like. I find
out on the "treehuggers" clan channel. That is one of the main purposes
of that clan- to help rogues like us, find out about important things.
You referred to recent fires that you haven't seen me at. The reason for
this, is because I have been away from realms lately, my time is very
limited. Do not make assumptions, for it is foolish.
It is true, being a rogue makes things a little more difficult. I don't
disagree with you on that. Before the Treehugger's clan was made, I had
nowhere to go, but to hear from friends the happenings and crisis' that
took place. It was a dark, lonely world, but I still did what I needed
to do. I think people need to stop looking at the amount of 'things'
they actually do. That doesn't classify them as forestal, or does it?
You also asked me, How do I speak of the Truth that drive Nature? Have I
spoken to Gaia? No, I never spoke to Mother Gaia. I was very young, and
immature at the time before she left. Have I spoken to Lady Demeter?
Yes, I have spoken to Her on many accounts. I was there, helping aide
Her awakening... And I joined her Order shortly after she formed one.
*gasp* Can you believe that? A rogue Druid joined her Order?! Actually,
at the time, I wasn't rogue. I still belonged to the Druid guild, when
Deonymus was Guildmaster. Those were much happier times in my life.
I don't want to go into details of my departure from Her Order, for it
wasn't pleasant. I will say this though. She did something, said
something false, that caused me to become reclusive. I left the guild
shortly after Her deceit.
If you want to know more about which I speak, feel free to come to me in
a more private format.
I do not talk to Lady Demeter now-a-days. I have had one debate with Her
through messages in regards to some of the current issues spoken today.
My personal issues, are irrelevant though. One does NOT have to belong
to a particular religion or Order, in order to serve Nature better.
Goddess of the Moon, God of the Elements, Goddess of the sun, God of the
Sea... don't these few Gods, also represent Nature? In my opinion, and
I'm sure many others, one Goddess of the plants and earth, cannot
represent Nature to its fullest.
You also mentioned the "treehuggers" clan. I feel that any group with a
large number all working towards the same goals, classifies as an
organization. It might not be run by your Lady Demeter, but the
Treehugger's are wonderful people. I don't always agree with individuals
in that organization, but that's the beauty of it. We all respect each
other, regardless of beliefs. Our only rule and principle, is that
Nature is first always. It is a group with free-thinkers, people who can
choose what they want to believe, without being judged or prosecuted.
The treehuggers provide a place for us 'rogues' to commune, to gain
information, and provide a place to work together with fellow druids.
For some ridiculous reason, we ALL have been blamed for one person's
doing. We are judged as a group, and not as individuals. The
Treehugger's clan was banned against members of Lady Demeter's Order,
apprentice Druids, Sylvans (which I don't know why, since it's a place
for DRUID classed), Eleusis, and god knows who else has banned people
from joining us. Now, if that isn't heirachy and rulers trying to
dominate a group of people, I don't know what is. To force someone out
of a group of people, who work towards the same goal as you, that is
just dumb. Some people in the Treehugger's might not do things the way
you do it, or see things the way you see it. But we ALL love Nature, and
that is what is important here, is it not?
Qwilleran, you also asked why I don't belong to any groups myself.
I belong to the treehuggers alone, simply because None of your groups
would take me. I have been in the public spotlight for way too long. My
beliefs conflict with Lady Demeters beliefs. I do not, and will not,
HATE all Mhaldorians. Lady Demeter has other feelings, and
unfortunately, it has become a forestal community powered by Her beliefs
alone. If one doesn't hate Mhaldor, we are not considered forestals. How
sad.
I follow Lady Selene's teachings. I can find beauty and love in
everything, if I choose to do so.
I hope you find my lengthy post informative. Again, if you wanted to
speak to me in private, then damn it, do so.
I hope, and pray, that we can all find common ground, and work together,
despite beliefs. If Oakstone would take me into it's memberships, I'd be
happy to join. But I also know that because I have different opinions on
some things, they probably wouldn't keep me too long. *sigh* I really
wish that we could all just work together. As far as Eleusis, I will
NEVER join a city. I joined Hashan briefly right after I left the Druids
guild... trying to find a place. Since leaving Hashan and being fully
rogue, I've come to realize that I placed an oath to never join a city,
when I became a Druidess long ago. I will honour my oath until I die. I
feel that cities only hinder your time serving nature. What other
forestal organization... *chin* I could join Fianna again, but they
kicked me out because I was too "neutral". Qwilleran, if you'd find me
an organization that would accept me, I'd be delighted. Otherwise, I
will remain, as I am.
I do what I can, sorry if I don't cut it to your standards. I really
don't care. I just want us to all get along. That is my only wish, that
we could work together, instead of create false accusations and
judgements.
That is it! *pant*

Much love to you ALL,
Ariella
