There are two sides to what "Forestal" means? I would
dare say there are quite a few more than that.
But lets tackle your definition first. "anyone who lives
in the Forests and uses either Concoctions or Groves".
I think that is almost a passable definition, but you
forgot a very important point. If you are an Oakstone
enemy, you are not living in the Forest..nor are you
using Concoctions much. So perhaps it should codiciled
with "and abides by Oakstone law", to be technically
correct?
I will strongly disagree with you that the action
of any one Concoctionist or Grove-user will play
a significatin part..regardless of the opinion
of the community. Certain people who have decided in the past
that the rules the community live by do not apply to them
are strongly affected for a long time by the community.
Their own effect upon the community is generally temporary,
while we repair the damage they cause. Ask Porthis,
Rayin, or Chronos.
A very faulty analogy with your cutting off of your hand,
unless you consider Porthis, Rayin, and Chronos to have
been appendages of yourself. Their enemy status, far from
causing the Forestal Community to be crippled, keeps
us better prepared.
Ah yes..Ideas must be stimulated. Surely. Principles
also must be upheld, not given token lip service in
the name of some illusory self-freedom without
consequence.
"The truth or falsehood of a given word is, of course,
independent of who says it." That certainly sounds nice.
It has absolutely zero meaning though. Every and any
given word has its own independent truth or falsehood
based on the circumstances it is uttered in, the
use it is being put to, and the other words it is
adjoined with..in order to make a statement.
Lodi hates the forests, takes glee in seeing them
destroyed, and constantly spouts irrelevant
dribble without being able to hold an argument on
an equal basis with children, much less informed adults.
If you think there is some truth in his words outside
his motivation of harm for Nature, you are indeed
in a confused minority.
