Extortion...according to Coran -- "An exorbitant charge, usually from a
person in a place of authority". That is not a definition of extortion.
As extortion is a legal term, you should dig out the red, corroded legal
dictionaries from Mhaldor's library...of course the fog has probably
eaten away the pages with the the correct information. Extortion is
actually defined as "obtaining money or property by threat to a victim's
property or loved ones, intimidation, or false claim of a right." Not
sure what the fog does to thought processes, but that certainly seems to
fit the bill of what Tybalt extorted from Floralei. He threatened to
continue exterminating the forest, and and she provided with a valuable
commodity in order to get him to stop..temporarily. In fact, the proof
of that is shown by the lack of success of said *agreement*. Floralei
notified people several days later that the *agreement* was off, as
Tybalt was demanding more than she could give. So, as you see, he not
only extorted from her to begin with, his greed attempted to extort even
more. Thankfully, Floralei this time realized the error of the original
agreement.

As Covenant already stated, it was Avitar who exterminated the entire
Dun Jungle many years ago, during the Sartai Wars. Must be that pesky
red fog again that ate away the history books.... Mostly, what amazes
me, Coran, is that you think Oakstone, or forestals, generally, care
about your opinions. You have not been much of a threat..in fact, I have
seen a number of Coran heads in a young apprentice druid's grove lately.
You talk about how you despise Oakstone because they do not suit your
needs. Well, last I checked, Oakstone was created by Mother Gaia to help
her protect her forests, not to satisfy you or anyone else. Oakstone is
a goal driven organization and we do a good job of protecting that which
was entrusted us by Gaia. You can yell "but...but..but..Tybalt...but
...but...but Samadhi..." As Covenant said..a mere blip. The fact is
simple, Coran, no group of people are more dedicated and bound by a
single goal than the forestal community....Oakstone, Druids, Sentinels,
Sylvans, Fianna, and Eleusis. We have been attacked incessantly ever
since I remember, and we still protect our charge. And we will continue.

One thing, I agree with you on...there will always be exterminators, and
"assisters"...and they will then be enemied to the forests that they
destroy, as is just. And we dedicated of Nature, will continue to push
you out of the forests.....ad nauseum. Nothing original there, Coran, in
the prospect or in your ramblings.
