Multi-faceted

I am .. quite insignificant. Of the many mortals who exist here, how
many of can ever become prominent. None. Sapience is dominated by the
wiser, the cleverer, in other words, the older. You can try really hard,
but in the end, chances are... nada, you continue being an unimportant
combatant (combat rankings above 50), or an unimportant basher
(experience rankings above 50), or an unimportant citizen of your
respective glorious city.

Therefore, the dreams that a young and ambitious novice have to "make it
big" in this realm one day, are totally ivory. Lady Valnurana has her
schemes (no offense, Lady, You were always succint and beautiful in Your
ways), and you, silly silly novice, fall into the trap of
non-achievement. You deluded creatures think that Trans-ing skills would
help, or maybe the purchase of artifacts, but too bad, my foolish dears,
chances are you won't.

(Some might, through sheer devotion, but there are only so many
Guildmasters, there are only so many Secretaries, there are only so many
people of the Ruling Council. And so many shops. And one Staff of
Nicator. And not many herbs. So, guess what the odds are to make it
smashingly big? Not you.)

Alternatively, you can create a public scandal and hoo-hah over
trivialities. Like how the forestals are forever at loggerheads with
Mhaldor. Or how Lord Sartan (He is sooo saturninely attractive, don't
you think?) would do something mortally atrocious, and the mortals would
be suitably flabbergasted and indignant. Something happens, somebody
reacts on the boards, and for the next 10 posts, nothing else is
mentioned. And the cycle repeats.

It's predictable.

Next, to the staunch defenders of their beliefs. No, dear chocolate pie
Church, you can't possibly eradicate the Evil *gasps at the blasphemy*
forces of the realms. Once Evil is gone, who will fight and argue with
you? The forged weapons would be wasted if they were used to rat. (The
Ur'vamps would be gone, remember?) What will you do then?

The same goes for the forestals. What would you do without exterminate?
Sit and idle in Eleusis until you sprout roots? The brilliant defenders
of the forest will always be brilliant, and yay, win the next CTF.

The same goes for the Evil mimsynibblykins. No Good people for you all
to play with. There'll be cannibalism next while your essence stores
dwindle and vanish.

(My grammar has always been good, hope there hasn't been any mistakes
yet.)

Mindless pursuits, that's what every single one of you are striving for.
The novices have their impossible Guildrank 19 to reach, the prominent
ones do nothing but argue/bash/killeachother/interviewnovices all day.
What goes from here? I think I'm the only clear-headed person in this
place. Lord Scarlatti's theatre is simply another thing to infatuate all
of you with. Don't all of you realise this?

When your soul is away from the realms, you will experience withdrawl
symptoms. Just like what happens if you don't get your constant supply
of (cactus) weed. *snigger* I know, because that's the same thing I
felt. Admittedly, I love the political system of this realm, and I love
everyone here. People here are so nice, it always touches me when
somebody inquires about my wellbeing, or offers to tattoo a moss or
starburst. (Thanks, mom, love lots!) I love the realms. However, if you
see it from a more realistic perspective, all the kindness within this
realms can be better focused (Lord Sarapis is truly noble, as seen in
the recent announce) in kinder ways.

But, (and I wake up from the delusional dream Lady Valnurana conjured
for me, and for every stupid one of you), the political system is false
(Neither Shallam or Mhaldor will ever win in the tussle of Good versus
Evil, and the forest, for all their "Fire in W. Ithmia" and "Name?",
will never truly protect the forests from harm. Just a single natural
disaster (Lord Vashtar flicks His fingers and lightning, tornadoes, et
cetera, descends) and ALL of your hard work would be ruined.

The guild system is false. Fat lot of good it does to comprehend the
elements. No additional spells for the Arcanists guild because they have
such superb understanding. Novices will take centuries to become
guildmasters. And what if a novice really does become a Guildmaster? You
get to do things like, guildfavour, chit chat with the Patron, that's
about it. You don't get much power, you know. It's all imaginary. "I am
in charge." I roll my eye till my sclera hurts. You are most definitely
not in charge. You get to boss others around sometimes, but the system
has been set. The GUILDHELP scrolls are there, and always will be there,
not counting the few miniscule amendments occasionally. If you don't
believe in the guild and its tradition, how the hell did you manage to
become the Guildmaster?

Monotony, my dear Achaeans. Monotony. The world is defined, and you
mortals won't be able to change it. (The Gods can, but They won't. They
can't possibly declare the Paladins to be an evil guild one day, can
They?) Duh.

All of you are simply too naive.

And some of you will stupidly continue to argue with me, fighting
relentlessly for your disillusioned beliefs. If that's the so, I shall
declare you victorious in the argument, because you're beyond hope,
beyond cure, beyond bloodroot, beyond divine intervention. You can
continue existing in this realm. I, on the other hand, will be
absolutely clear-headed.

(Oooh, another interesting thing to note. A lot of the public board
arguments revolve around the grammar of the dissident. If that's the
case, that is TRULY pathetic. You really shouldn't do that. It's not
very highlighting for your image. It's petty. And I do hope that my
language and presentation has been flawless. Sorry if I've been careless
here and there.)

ALL of this being said, I guess that 100% of you will just ignore me.
That's fine. As I said earlier, I'm pretty much insignifcant. One day,
*sigh*, when somebody really big and great and attractive (never
underestimate the power of seduction) lectures on the same subject,
perhaps you'd listen.

For now, I can claim I tried.

Do good, my fellow Achaeans. All of you have been wonderful to me, and I
love all your souls. Your souls, ok? Not you Dwarves, Tsol'aas, Mhuns,
Atavians, yadda.

Lucent Percipience, Anwyn Oracul'ar.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Miraman, in the year 351 AF.
