Delusions

Kaelin,

It takes monumental arrogance on your part to dare suggest the Gods of
Shallam were attempting to eliminate their consciences last month. Lord
Pentharian, Lady Lorielan, and Lady Mithraea were punishing Linnia for
extremely serious crimes against the Church. I will be charitable, and
assume that you know punishing treachery is not nearly the same as
cruelty for its own sake, as practised in Mhaldor. In which case your
taunts are so transparent that no one, not even your own followers, can
possibly regard your "persecution" with anything but utter contempt for
your recklessness.

If I was not charitable, I would assume that you shouted your foul
ideology at the Te'serrah in sincere belief that they would welcome your
contribution, even after being warned by the Father of Valour to keep
your tongue behind your teeth. In which case your lack of judgement
reflects extremely badly on the city you speak for. Feel the stirrings
of shame at the bottom of your black heart, Kaelin.

In any event, my Father is not testing your devotion to beliefs, save
for the belief that you can speak however you wish about the Divine and
their actions IN THEIR PRESENCE, and not face punishment for it. One
would hope you'd develop a healthier respect for Immortals, to say
nothing of being able to better assess the consequences of your actions
personally and as Tyrannus, but I sincerely doubt it.

Sincerely,
Elysian Knight, Sir Trevalyan Sa'Rithven-Rian

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Mayan, in the year 348 AF.
