Greetings Sapience and Greetings to You Lord Sartan,
While it was not alltogether unexpeceted for myself to receive Your
trademark touch, I am a bit surprised myself Lord Sartan. I have been
nothing but deferential towards Yourself and the city You protect.
Repeatedly, time after time, I have let Sapience know of the great
respect that I have for Your tyrannus. I still do. However, that does
mean I have no hatred for those that harbor the red fog. I *never*
proclaimed the power to make an entire city, certainly not one with a
great history of never being pushed around and staying the course of
Evil. I simply wishe d for negotiations to show promise within the time
constraint I had been given. Needless to say, Mhaldor would have
profited greatly from any sort of Negotiations that would have spurred.
I don't need to spew them all as it seems that time has passed. But let
me tell you, I received GREAT dismay from many organizations,
particularly those close to my heart. I have suffered much from those
that I have called friend and family. But still, I stayed my course. I
hope You and Your city can appreciate that, as it is through suffering
that one can achieve greatness. Ironically enough Lord Sartan, I do
believe that is the first of the truths that You teach to Your
followers: "We seek, through discipline and pain, to spur the
advancement of nothing less than sentient life."
My apologies to all the other dragons. Aringar, Style, Blaise, Asara,
and now Trae. (Congrats by the way). I love you all like brothers and
sisters. I meant no disrespect to our race at all. But I hope you can
all appreciate that I must act upon my beliefs. I don't and will never
proclaim to have power of Sartan's city. While that may be the common
layperson's belief, I'm sure you 5 can understand what I mean. No
offense to the rest of Sapience of course!
I am not sure how long my maggotdom has been alotted for, but be warned
Mhaldor. I have recieved your response, and will no doubt act upon it.
To those of you who have made great efforts to speak to your city, I
thank you. For that, I will not touch you, unless I am first targetted.
If you do target me, I understand as you are merely defending your city,
your guildmates, and that for which you believe in. I can respect that
greatly.
Be well Sapience, let us see what the future portends.
