While meandering recently near the Nightmare
Spirit Alp, I happened to witness her actually
sing. At first, I didn't pay too much heed
as it wouldn't have been the first time some
denizen of Sapience bursted out in song. What
did catch my attention, however, was the fact that
she did so without using her throat! The song
actually eminated outwards from her whole being.
When I inquired into this, the only response I was
given was that her voice came from her nature, and
that it did not require a throat to manifest
itself. Despite further inquiries and polite
requests to learn more, Alp has remained silent
expect for one other time of singing.
I took to podering on this, as I have expressed much
interest in this topic, and can only come up with
theories. Primarily, if her voice comes from her
nature, does anyone and everything have this capability,
or is it unique to those like her? Also, if it isn't
unique, is it something that one can be taught to use?
There are many other potential questions that can
arise from this.
This is only the beginning stages of working on
this happening. If anyone has any ideas to add to
this, please don't hesitate to inform me.
Penned by my hand on the 20th of Scarlatan, in the year 347 AF.
