Sermon: The Covenant of the Lord

Written by: Preacher of Evil Wulfen

Hail, Sapience.

I am again privileged to share with you my most recent sermon. I
preached The Covenant of the Lord, Chapter Five of Lord Sartan's
Apocrypha, at the north end of Thera. This chapter details the glory
awaiting Lord Sartan's humble slaves, and the torment awaiting His foes.

I post this with the permission of the Tyrannus of Mhaldor and the
Messiah of the Damned of the Apostates.

I hope this will further your religious education.

For the greater glory of Lord Sartan,
and the exaltation to be found in worship of Him.

--------------------
Hail, Sentients. Those who are above the beasts, those who forge the
world's destiny.

Hearken to my words.

Today I will preach the unholy Word of Lord Sartan, the Malevolent. I
will preach the Covenant of the Lord, from Chapter Five of the
Apocrypha. This is the compact that Lord Sartan holds with all His
followers.

The Apocrypha tells us of our reward for loyal service to Lord Sartan.
Verse Two says, "Behold, he hath divided unto you by lot this mighty
land, to be an inheritance for your guilds, clans and citizens, with all
the nations that he hath cut off, even unto the great sea westward."

Herein we see Lord Sartan's vision of Sapience. One land, ruled by His
followers, as He rules over all. The perfect society, wherein the strong
rule over the weak. Lord Sartan's minions shall possess the lands
formerly owned by His enemies. Sapience will resound with the
lamentations of the infirm of spirit, those heretics who did not accept
Lord Sartan as their master befoe the final battle.

This Sentients, is to be the reward of those who serve Lord Sartan:
Dominion over the world, under His Evil rule. Those of you who do not
serve Lord Sartan, your fate will be immeasurably less pleasant; you are
to be expunged from Sapience, or enslaved, dead or alive, to serve our
Lord. Think upon your future, Sentients. Are you to be among the
victors, in service to Lord Sartan, or are weakness and enslavement to
be your lot? Consider this well, that you may join Lord Sartan's hosts
prior to the fulfillment of His words.

How are we mortals, who are so weak compared to Lord Sartan, to gain His
favour? The Apocrypha holds the answer. Verse Six, "But cleave unto the
LORD, as ye have done unto this day." Verse Nine, "Take good heed
therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD."

Cleave unto Lord Sartan, Sapients. Take His teachings to heart. Put Him
above your worldly ties. Obey Him in all things. This is your path to
strength, through your devotion to His glory. In service to Lord Sartan,
you will find greatness beyond mortal imagination. This we are promised,
in Verse Twelve: "And ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls,
that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD
spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing
hath failed thereof."

Beware, Sapients. While Lord Sartan's greatness knows no bounds, his
rage at those who betray His trust is feared by all. Few are those who
have suffered Lord Sartan's wrath, and their fates were horrible. Lord
Sartan Himself posted to the Public news board to tell of their fates,
in posts 2182, 3557, 5724, 10582, and 10771. The Apocrypha tells of the
fate of those who reject Lord Sartan once having accepted the privilege
of service to Him. Verse Fourteen says, "When ye have transgressed the
covenant of the LORD, which he commanded you, and have gone and served
other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the
LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the
holy land which he hath given unto you."

Here, Sapients, is the future of our world, revealed to you in the
Apocrypha. Your loyal service to Lord Sartan will assure your rule over
your own part of Sapience. If you choose not to serve, you will be slain
or enslaved by His servants in the end times. Should you betray Him,
however, His wrath will be terrible to behold, and you will scream for
the mercy of an agonizing death. This, Sapients, is what you should
ponder. When Lord Sartan's hosts ride out to fulfill prophecies in the
Apocrypha, which side will you be on? Will you choose strength over
weakness? Will you choose to be one of the masters of Sapience, serving
Lord Sartan through stewardship of the domain you are granted? Or will
you choose to be a slave, serving in torment those who have accepted
Lord Sartan as their master? Think over this, as your future hangs in
the balance.
