Disclaimer-This does not constitute in any fashon the
only opinion on this matter, so please, don't make
statements saying I claim to speak as if I represent
some organization. Also, I try my best to mention
when someone has either added an idea that I write
about or if there thoughts contributed to me
elaborating with some of my own added.
Wandering around Sapience, have you ever paid
attention to the Land around you, by just being
silent and listening to the world? Have you ever
caught the hint of a subtle voice eminating from
the trees you are under, to notice that no one
besides you is there? Ever notice the sounds
that the land around you makes?
This is the Voice of the Land. No one can be for
certain where the Voice originated, but likely it has
been around since the world was created.
Perhaps it is Ayar's Voice we catch glimpses of as we
roam. Maybe the Land developed its own voice. It is even
possible to believe that it is a combination of both.
I've spent much time speaking about how our emotions
create a form of essence that swirls around us all the time.
This world was created from the emotions of the Creator,
and maybe some of that emotion is what keeps the Land fused
together. Yet...as he added his emotion to his creation, he
gave it the ability to feel for itself as emotions are not
a static thing. People interact with the Land, and the
Land responds. When it is hurting, the Land calls out for aide
and succor, while whenever it is treated with respect and
honour, it repays in kind by providing for us. These
are emotions in different forms, but nonetheless still
are emotions. Being that we are only mere mortals,
one normally would notice this in ways that can
normally only be seen, but on ocaision can be heard.
Those who hear the Voice are often bewildered and surprised,
as they cannot understand it.
But what if there are those who can?
I would ask all who practice the bardic arts to take
some time on their travails to listen for the Voice
of the Land. Pay attention to it, try to make sense of
it. If at all possible, attempt to repeat what you hear.
I know this sounds far-fetched, but is something
remarkable that many would enjoy trying to discover.
As always...comments are welcome. Even better..
add your own ideas. Do not be afraid to
talk about something just because some people
do not want to hear about it.
