Just a post that is an introduction to my thoughts on the role of
pointless posts. I'm sure many of you will laugh at my use of 1000 gold
to write this post (no Ryanna thought who I am supposed to be paying
back, sorries), but I do so in an attempt to raise interest in a subject
that is a focal point of all peoples' lives. These points are my own, as
I am too lazy to talk to people about them before i post (:smile me:)

Pointless posts are mentioned throughout history, as you can see this is
Public post 11656ish, most of the other 11.6k posts are pointless,
especially the ones done on the subject of religion, guild ideals,
economic debates, posts summarizing things, anything by Rocktamer.

In a sense then, you can see that pointless posts are merely used to
empower the author with a higher self esteem, and to bore the reader to
tears. These posts have to be finely crafted to avoid the all too
familar 'You can not spell, and your grammar is exceedingly bad, I'm
going to make fun of you and tell you not to post anymore so I can feel
better about myself.' pointless posts.

Now, my favourite time of pointless post is the 'Summary' posts, closely
followed by the 'I'll kill anyone who makes a summary' posts. If you
like, it might be a nice diversion for you all to write a post,
detailing your favourite type of pointless posts.

And perhaps, the 'My favourite kind of pointless post is' pointless post
will become my new favourite
