Naga

Greetings,
I have decided to waste 1000 gold on this post so that I may let the
general public know that the Naga are...how should I say this...weak?
Yes, that would fit the bill quite nicely, but it still doesn't wholly
describe their pathetic Guild. Many of you doubtless no this fact
already, and if you have worked to spread the news to the rest of
Sapience, I commend you. Yes, as I write this I am still a Naga, but I
am sure I will not be for much longer. Having returned from a period of
dormancy, I have found myself a member of a sad and sorry organization.
What follows is an account of my personal experience dealing with these
so-called assassins and followers of Evil.
Naturally, after my soul returned to these lands, I once again tasted
the desire to kill. Procuring a few necessities, I set out to do just
that. I found a nice darkened place in a tree, and waited eagerly for
the first sign of prey. Ahah! There he is...Tricis my friend, what turn
of fortune brought you beneath that tree? Quickly crafting a noose, I
slipped it down out of the foliage and drew it tight around his neck.
Obviously, he died quite soon thereafter, to my utter delight. Now at
this moment, I am sure most of you are thinking that I am mean or Evil
or some degree inbetween. Indeed, I strive to be Evil, for that is what
and who I am.
Landon quickly arrived in order to avenge his Guildmates death...which
is perfectly reasonable. I must say I was not up to doing battle with so
strong a foe, and I quickly retreated into the city of Evil, Mhaldor.
Several minutes went by, during which I can only assume Landon or some
other member of the Sentinels spoke with Rewthalas of the Naga. Then, to
my very great surprise, Rewthalas began to condemn my actions on the
Guild channel. Sadly, I do not remember his exact wording, but it was
something like-
>Blaed, do you have an explanation for these senseless killings?
Need I a better explanation than that I am Evil and a member of a Guild
of assassins and killers? Apparently to satisfy a Naga Secretary I do. I
was immediately ordered to apologize and my name was besmirched in the
guild records...much to my incredulity. I quote now one of the Seven
Truths of Lord Sartan-
>6) The mind may be made stronger through the elimination of conscience.
One;>does this by inflicting pain on others.
Surely my "senseless killings" exemplify this Truth? I murdered an
innocent party in cold blood, without even showing myself. Surely I have
shown a complete lack of conscience in this act? Have I not inflicted
pain upon another? I do believe the answer to all these questions is
yes.
However, because of the weakness inherent in the Naga's Guild
leadership, I was condemned and insulted. Because of the Conscience of
the Guild leadership, I was made to apologize. Because of the Guild
leadership's weakness, a Sentinel was able to sway them into doing
exactly what he wanted. I was told that if I ever do this again, I will
be outguilded. Having discussed the situation briefly with Rewthalas, I
was told that we are only allowed to be Evil when it doesn't harm anyone
else. For instance, if I had had PK on Tricis, then I would have been
permitted to kill him. This is understandable. But, explain to me how
this policy is any different from the Priests, or Paladins? Surely they
are allowed to kill someone should they have a valid PK reason? Of
course they are.
Naga, you are a mockery of yourselves and of Evil, and I cannot
understand how you can bear the shame. You are a group of angry children
dressed up in gothic clothing. Guess what, it isn't Halloween anymore.
Take off your costumes and show the whole of Sapience the weak-kneed,
and weak-minded individuals you really are. Do you think titles like
"Mistress of Torment", "Sartanic Sniper", and "Shadow of Death" make you
Evil? Does your warcry, Rewthalas, make you feel better about yourself?
Does it stroke your inflated ego, until you can finally sleep at night,
secure in the thought that you are purging weakness from the world?
Here's an idea. Secrete camus and bite yourself until you die. That will
surely contribute to your efforts to purge the weak from these lands.
When exactly do you all plan on actually being Evil? I am sure you will
kill me many times for this, thus making you feel as if you are doing
something wrong. But, public insults are PKable, so hunt me if you will.
I care not.
>"Torment shall be their domain. Pain shall rule their life. Evil shall
claim;>their souls."
Preach your flowery words to the world Naga, there is no substance and
no reality behind them. I should have seen them for the vaporous drivel
they truly are.
To those of you who read this far, I applaud your long attention span.
