Oops Dumas I misspelled your name! *snap* My version may be better. I'm
not sure, what do you think?
I have sat back and for the last 25 years taken heat for stuff that was
completely out of my hands and had nothing to do with me. I've done it
quietly and silently out of respect for Artimas as he maintained arguing
with you fools was a waste of time and asked me to refrain. I did.. well
our divorce has been long since over and he is long since absent from
our lives so I believe its time for the silence to be broken. I will not
be referenced in such shady ways as I have been in these recent posts
without making my position clear.
Morkael (or however you spell his silly name, ex leader of Cyrene) put
out an announcement seeking the next Combat Minister of Cyrene. Artimas
applied. Myself being a more talented writer than he is, actualy wrote
the application for him based on his points of outline, so I know what
was in that application.
After a time, the winning applicatin was announced to be Calhoun.
Artimas was saddened but he blew it off, until which time Calhoun
brought out his defense structure and outlined everyones positions and
strategies. Nearly word for word, his work was so similar a carbon copy
of my own words we both lurched with nausea at the obvious slap in the
face Mork and Calhoun were sending to Artimas. What their motivations
were I dont know. Nor, do I truly care. It was wrong and Artimas struck
back. I didn't know much about it until right up before he did it, but
when he initially told me it was going to be a clearing of the Cyrenian
accounts and moving to Mhaldor. Never did it include the Mojushai as we
both had great respect for not only Xorath but the guild in general, for
what they were so weakly -trying- to do within their halls. Somehow Mork
got wind of what he planned and locked him outof all the City-oriented
accounts and he was unable to get to any of it. Earlier that month of
the month before, he had some rather unpleasant exchanges with some of
the Mojushai but I dont recall who, if it was Xorath directly or someone
else but he was angry. And between what Cyrene did to him and what the
Mojushai did to him, he took what he could get his hands on and left.
For the next several months all I heard from people was how I was to
blame. Oh their Mighty Artimas couldnt be solely at fault for such a
heinous crime--how dare that horrible Diamondesce sink her ugly claws
into him, such an honorable Monk.Artimas will be the first to admit his
loyalties are to Himself. He couldnt even stand by his loyalties to me,
much less OUR Guild when the lady of Green tried to weave her magic on
him. For who to blame in that little scandal it is not I you need to
blame. All I did was love and stand by a man I thought I could trust to
stand by me. Blame Cyrene for what happened to you, Mojushai. Or better
yet, blame Artimas. I'm tired of hearing your cries.
Penned by my hand on the 13th of Phaestian, in the year 345 AF.
