My departure

For the two or so people I know who haven't already seen this, or anyone
interested in the life of an average apprentice Druidess, read on.
Anyone else, do whatever. I'm beyond caring.

I have, over the course of the 15-odd years I've been involved in
Achaean politics, begun to feel a certain world-weariness. All the
arguments between the peoples and cities of Sapience, the incessant
drone of civilization in my ears, has finally reached the point where I
cannot bear it any longer. I have grown tired of human company, and the
only way to fix that is to remove myself completely from it. My solution
is as follows.

I have employed the services of an Ashtanian shipwright to construct me
a small yacht. I will provision myself and set off for the sea, until my
mind can accept the company of people again. I will return only to
repair my vessel and to restock my food stores. You might see me in
Ashtan, or Shallam. Say hello, if you want.

One thing that I am certain of is that I will return for good. Take my
word on it.

Serving Nature and eagerly awating Tarah's return,

Ellasar

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Lupar, in the year 344 AF.
